What is a browser?
To understand just what a web browser does, it may help to think of the World Wide Web (WWW) as a big
library on the Internet. Web "sites" are something like the books you find in the library, and Web "pages"
are much like specific pages in those books. A collection of Web pages is called a Web site. In order to
view Web pages, you need a Web "browser" such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
